All teams shot blank on Saturday at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations as three matches were stalemated at 0-0. This arithmetically translated to 281 minutes of matches without goals as two of the matches had three minutes of added time each while another one had five minutes added after regulation time.

Mauritania and Angola in Group E set the tone for the day at Suez and the following two matches in Ismailia followed similar trend as Cameroon and Ghana in Group F as well as  Benin and Guinea-Bissau capped the day with another goalless draw. at Ismailia Stadium.

Ghana’s barren draw with Cameroon has put the Black Stars in precarious situation and are condemned to win their last group match against Guinea Bissau to keep their stay in the competition.

Benin raised their tally to two points to tie with Ghana and stay behind leaders Cameroon who have four points. Guinea-Bissau earned their first point of the campaign.
