A largest rice mills company is currently under construction in Kebbi State, the ongoing project was embarked upon by Dangote group of companies in Saminaka town of Shanga local government area of Kebbi State.
At the construction site on a visit by the Kebbi State governor Senator Atiku Bagudu was conducted round by the site engineers Mr Sundeep and Kabiru who told Bagudu that all necessary containers have been mobilesed to the site for continuous installations,the engineers added that when the rice mills is completed it has the capacity to produce 32 tones per hour with 32 silos in place,the engineers said.
The twin engineers told the governor that, their major impediments is how to source skilled labourers which they said forced them to import some from kano,they called on youths in the state with skills to come forward to be engaged by the company within the construction time.
Earlier, in his response the Kebbi State governor his excellency Senator Atiku Bagudu commends Dangote group of companies particularly the business mogul himself Aliko Dangote for finding Kebbi deserving of such a huge investment which he added when the company is completed a large number of Kebbi youth will be gainfully employed, on the part of government Bagudu explained that,his government will give all the support required for the company to continue to exist in the State.
