Member representing Suru local government area of Kebbi State honourable Umar Altine of State assembly recently constructed toilets and donated them to the hospital operating in Suru local government.

Altine who is also the chairman house committee on health in Kebbi State said he was moved by the state of the toilets which was meant to serve both health personnel,patients and their relatives but the public convenience were in bad sharp and in a very poor conditions.

The law maker was on a meet the constituents visit when he received the complaints from his people that,the hospital needs attention in the regard.

In a similar development honourable Umar out of sheer magnanimity assisted a mother of triplets with fifty thousand naira for the upkeep of the babies he regretted that shortly after delivery the poor woman lost the babies, few months later Umar added that same woman took in but couldn’t deliver by herself he again contracted a doctor who delivered her successfully which he sponsored.

He noted that,health committee under him will work tirelessly to ensure health demands of his people and that of the entire state are met,to achieve that,the law maker said collaboration is required with relevant experts.

According to him all stakeholders in the health industry in Kebbi are partners of the health committee which vigour to ensure no stone is left unturned in the holistic healthcare drive.

In company of Kebbi governor his excellency Senator Atiku Bagudu the committee visited Kalgo town where free medical out reach is on going to see for themselves and symphatise with the patients who had received free drugs and free operations from the team of both local ,foreign doctors and nurses.

He called on people of Kebbi State to inform the committee of any urgent health need in both urban and rural areas as they are there to serve every body”people with genuine complaints on healthcare delivery in their locality are free to come forward Umar said.
