President Muhammadu Buhari said the Economic Community of West African States is confronted with the greatest challenge of terrorism.

President Buhari said this during the 56th Ordinary Session of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of state and Government in Abuja.

He also added that his administration is committed to developing initiatives for inclusive economic growth among the people of the region.

The meeting is expected to deliberate on Nigeria’s border closure and the ECOWAS single currency.

In the meantime, six West African countries will be requesting logistics from Nigeria towards their upcoming elections in 2020.
