A philanthropic and an APC aspirant for Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Sir Maduakolam Kenneth Adigbibe has said that he is optimistic to win the State Assembly Seat in 2019.
Sir Adighibe who spoke to our correspondent in Umuahia on Sunday said despite the leadership problem rocking his Party All Progressive Congress in Abia, the party will make waves.
Adighibe who vied for the same position in 2015 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and lost during the Primary Election through what he described as electoral fraud said APC is well structured and will not impose candidates.
He said Abians are not comfortable with PDP and will vote for APC for real change in the state. “This time, party is not the issue rather; the people of Abia will vote individuals. Those already in house will not be an obstacle”.
The APC stalwart urged the people of Abia and Umuahia Central State Constituency in particular to ensure that they obtain their permanent voters card with which to vote for their candidates in 2019.
“Shun money bags, vote wisely and vote APC candidates. To achieve this, ensure you get your voters cards. It is for your franchise in 2019. PDP has failed Abia State and for the state to recover from Economic woes, vote wisely for APC” he said.
