The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has released 745 as the number of new Covid-19 infections recorded in the country with the total number of confirmed cases now 18,480.

The new infections are recorded in 21 states including Lagos-280, Oyo-103, Ebonyi-72, FCT-60, Imo-46, Edo-34 and Delta-33. Other are Rivers-25; Kaduna-23; Ondo-16; Katsina-12; Kano-10; Bauchi-8; Borno-7; Kwara-5; Gombe-4; Sokoto and Enugu-2 each; Yobe, Osun and Nasarawa-1 each.

A total of 6,307 Covid-19 patients have so far been discharged in Nigeria following the successful treatment of additional 340 in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 6 Covid-19 fatalities have been recorded across the country with the death toll now 475.
