Wini dedicates movie to Governor Yaya Bello, Remi  Tinubu, Odii, Dr Felix. King

Nollywood Actress Wini Lazarus  has dedicated her latest movie, ” My Body My Pride” to the Governor of Kogi State .Yahaya Bello  for recognising and considering  women whom she refer to as nation builders in various squares of position in his state. Wini said the various activities of governor lately shows they both share the same school of thought as when she set.her eyes on the script early last year.  Speaking on the similarities, she said her movie is centred  on the marriage institution and  factors that strengtthen the home, his excellency is also strengthening the home by empowering and providing more jobs for women and making them financially equip to support their home, which also tends to build long lasting relationships and save the home from financial distress.  She is also dedicating same to  Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii,      and    Dr. Felix King Eiremiokhae,    for their respective roles in uplifting various home front via their respective contributions  to women and widows via their foundation. Also in the list is   the former first lady of Lagos State,   Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for the role she played in giving  the child a sense of belonging  which has enabled some Lucky few to  live their dream  through her project the New Era Foundation, which also has similarities with her pet project, building the future  for senior secondary school students, as she also commend all the beautiful Nigerians who has one way or the other uplifted the home and families.

Speaking on her movie, Wini said, when l  came across d story, l saw that it was a   beautiful family story, about a couple who who did not give up, so l  decided to produce it.  The story teaches married couple how to live their lives.  Although it is not my first movie, but this movie my body my pride takes me a step further from acting, she described the whole scenario as very interesting. Marriage is a journey, characterise by several components that makes it admirable, enduring , a fun place to be and a home devoid of all regrettable element’s. It is a place behind the curtains of courtship, that is why it is called a home. Most people bask in the euphoria of dating and weddings instead of building a home. They refuse to see the inner content of marriage, that is what is destroying most homes today which has resulted in a high level of divorce,  separation and unhealthy home, most of which is destroying  the society and nations at large.  The wellbeing of a home, determines the outcome of our societies, communities and  nations.  The movie tends to  teach and create awareness of the sub consciousness of the flaws and nip in the bud that couples can identify , most especially those of them that are very young.  I am also trying to address the fact that most of us shy away from this, hence,  the increasing numbers of separation and divorce, which also iaffects the  children, who she refer to as our greater tomorrow. . We must not fail to tell ourselves the home truth, which is, the  total wellbeing and a sound mind of a child, starts from the home, hence it must be staple before we can have a healthy society. The movie tends to take couples back to the drawing board for them to evaluate themselves and identity their weakness as it also tends to build long lasting relationships. These Wini says is one of the ways of mending existing cracks and sweetening the home front. Answering questions on what she thinks are some of causes of failed marriage, her response, information technology, peer pressure, social media and negative hype.: People are beginning to see all these as the normal Norms. We must go back to basis, go back to our roots and learn how our parents made life and the society worth living by being contented. There was no charismatic overzealousness.  The movie has come to strengthen the marriage institutions, we must make it work, this she says is her mission right now.  Reacting to questions on domestic violence in marriage, she says ways to prevent it is also in the movie. Emphasiing further, she said, you can have a successful marriage and still be successful career in your chosen field of endeavor..  She also stated that her exposure abroad makes her concentrate on the home because the government has structures that strengthen the homes that is why most of these developed countries  are beautiful and worth visiting.   Wini who is still single hopes to be married someday. She says her mother had a successful marriage, gave birth to her, so she is hopeful.  Wini who is particular about the welfare of women also has a  U tube channel, my pregnant wifey, where she showcases some of the pressures and excitement of pregnant women and how men can cope with it. Wini who will soon embark on a project she called, building the future ,  a career counselling mission to all secondary schools in Nigeria is looking for sponsors from both government, corpoeate organisations and the private individuals. She says,   we must build the minds of our future generation and set their foot on the right path. We must inculcate the right ideas in their mind that success does not come on a platter of gold, they must work very hard for it. Most importantly, they must know that most of the lies in the social media space are nothing but destruction of the human mind and soul and leads to nowhere. Hence they must spend their time and data on things that will add value to their life.L Answering questions on some of challenges encountered in the course of production, her response, ” lots  of challenges but with God we conquered it all. The financial aspect is muxh, but  it was  something that we could  handle”  Responding to the challenges of covid, she said, we compiled to all the guidelines of NCDC .  we wash our hands regularly, with our face mask on and maintained social distancing on location..
