….As CP vows to rescue him alive

Suspected gunmen had on Thursday night abducted the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Nasiru Mamman Suka of Gwadabawa local government area of Sokoto.
A source within the family of the Chairman confirm that he was kidnapped at his residence in Gwadabawa.
Confirming the development to our correspondent on phone, the image of Nigerian Police in the state, ASP Abubakar Sanusi, said the police is on the trail of the kidnappers.
He confirmed that the state commissioner of police, CP Kamaldeen Kola Okunlola, while speaking at the family house of the victim on Friday, assured that the command will do everything possible to rescue the victim.
According to the PPRO, “the commissioner of police, was in the house on Friday morning to see things for himself.
“While commistrate with the family, he assured them that the command will do everything humanly possible to rescue him alive and unite with his family” he added.
ASP Sanusi Abubakar, however assured the people of the state of continuous security of lives and property of all residents of the state.
He called on all residents of the state to continue to be law abiding in their activities in accordance to the law of the land.
