As part of his contribution especially during the yearly Ramadan fasting, the Attahiru Bafarawa Foundation (ABFO), a foundation established by the former governor of Sokoto State, Athahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, has again gave out hundreds of eggs to some vulnerable persons within the Sokoto metropolitan area.
The beneficiaries this year includes some selected hospitals and inmates of the state correctional medium centre in order to ameliorates their living standard and help their fasting prigramme.
The crates of eggs distributed by ABFO were donated to the Foundation by Yarima Support Organisation of Ahmed Sani Yarima political movement in Nigeria.
Some of the affected Hospitals benefitted are Maryam Abacha Women and Children Hospital, Noma Hospital, Infectious and Disease Control Centre, Amanawa.
Others includes State Orphanage and Remand Homes, Destitute centres and Old Market areas.
The two days distribution exercise of the crates of eggs mentioned was conducted by the his aides, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi and Malam Bello Gwadabawa among others.
Some of the representatives of the beneficiaries who spoke with newsmen after collecting the items expressed their appreciations and pray for the well being of former governor Attahiru Bafarawa and the YSO on this gesture and assistance during this month of Ramadan.
