Late arrival of INEC officials at polling units rocks governorship supplementary election in Ihiala 

There were complaints across some polling units in Ihiala local government area of Anambra Statewhere the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was expected to conduct supplementary polls on Tuesday.

Voters were  worried they had continue to wait long for INEC officials to arrive.

As at 12:54 pm at 004 and 008 polling units at Odata Central School Ihiala Amamu ward 1  there were no INEC officials except security personnel.

Those who came out to vote were remonstrating bitterly and threatening to leave.

Also at 0012 and 003 polling units at Aforigwe primary school Ubahuekwem Ihiala Ogboro ward 5, accreditation of voters began at 1:05 pm with many eligible voters waiting patiently in the sun to be accredited.

There were security operatives on ground.
