Newly elected national chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria, IPAC,
Engr. Yabagi Yusuf Sani
has said he would
sustain the vision, mission and objectives of the Council.
In his acceptance speech, Sani promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by
taking the council to the next level.
He commended delegates for finding him worthy to lead the Council.
He urged leaders of political parties to join hands with his executive to chart a way forward for IPAC.
He also commended his predecessor, Dr Leonard Nzenwa for his efforts in sustaining the vision, mission and objectives of IPAC.
Also, Sani applauded the Electoral Committee which had Senator Saidu Dansadau as chairman, Barr. Dan Nwanyanwu, secretary and Maggie Mariam Batubo, member, for conducting a free, fair and credible election observed by INEC officials, stating that there was no victor, no vanquished.
The election which held on Tuesday December 14, in Abuja, saw the emergence of a new executives to steer the ship of IPAC for the next one year.
The newly elected nine-member executives are:

National Financial Secretary Dr Olu
Agunloye (Social Democratic Party),
National Publicity Secretary
Amb. Agbo Major (New Nigeria Peoples Party),
National Organizing Secretary
Comr. Egbeola Olawale Martins
(Young Progressives Party) and
National Legal Adviser
Barr. Julius Abure (Labour Party).
IPAC has suffered leadership crises over the years, making the one year tenure of the leaders almost unimpactful.
