The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced on Wednesday that movements around the FCT would be restricted from 12 midnight on Friday 11, 2022 to 4pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Consequently, members of the public are hereby advice to go about their normal legitimate business without the fear of harassment or molestation of any kind from any quarters.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephine Adeh said in a statement that the Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Babaji Sunday, has assured members of the public of adequate provision security before, during and after the election. And urged them to come out and vote for candidates of their choice.
