Councillor Onyema, a-27 year old teaching Assistant at Abia state University, Uturu, has advised his fellow youths in the country to be focused, plan and secure their future now as leaders of tomorrow.

Onyema gave the advice in Umuahia while briefing some select journalists on his new book slated to be launched soon.

Onyema, who graduated from ABSU with First class in Linguistics and Languages few years ago and was engaged by the University in his new book entitled “Your Person in the World of People” said for one to be successful in life, he/she should learn how to relate with people, adding that those who do not know how to relate, do so at their own peril.

He disclosed that that his book is all about human existence and survival, how did we originate? while the chapters answer the questions.

Onyema further hinted that one must always hustle to survive the world.

“I travelled to Lagos, Aba, Abuja, Onitsha and Port Harcourt to study how people are surviving in the course of my research before finally putting it together. “I started the research 2009 when I just finished my Secondary school and concluded in 2019. It took 10 years research while writing it took three years (2017-2020).

On his final year Project, Onyema disclosed that chose three topics for one to be approved and luckily for him the one “Stylistic and Vocabulary Analysis of Orji Uzor Kalu’s Leadership series in the Daily Sun” was given approval his chosen topic.

He said he had prayed to God for this particular topic to be approved.

“When OUK was Governor of Abia state, he is somebody, I know so many youths love because of his leadership qualities and with respect. Because of his life style, I decided to do a work on OUK” he enthused.

CLIFFORD UNIVERSITY CHURNS OUT 11 FIRST CLASS GRADUATES IN 2ND COVOCATION.

Clifford University, Owerrinta, Abia state has churned out 11 first class graduates during her 2nd graduation ceremony.

Chimezie A Omeonu, (Professor) , the Vice Chancellor revealed that a total of 77persons graduated during the ceremony.

Of the figure, 11 garnered first class, 27 got 2nd class upper Division, 39 scored 2nd class lower Division while Esther N. Onyegbule emerged as the overall best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.98

Omeonu charged the graduands to imbibe the philosophy of Alheri Dante “Show the light” so that so that people would find the way.

He also charged them to be good Ambassadors of their Alma mater.

Pat Okedinachi Utomi, a Professor, Lagos Business School and founder, Centre for Values and Leadership, a guest lecture during the ceremony in his lecture entitled” The Sociological Imagination of Promise Keeper” said the ceremony  should be regarded as commencement because it is a time of commencing life’s journey at a level of elevated expectations.

He noted that the happiest people on a day of convocation is interesting more the parents than the graduands for there is a combination of relief, even liberation from the burden of school fees paying on one ground and delight at the fulfillment of seeing the support  and cheerleading they have offered.

“I am convinced that if you act differently from many of those people one of could shine the light to a glorious new dawn for Nigeria, away from the poverty capital of the world and killing fields of the 21st century. In this 4th industrial revolution, your creativity can be the key to our soul and the prosperity promised by our independent fathers” he charged them.
