The Sokoto Ministry of Environment has put all necessary measures in place to delist some private service providers registered in 2019.
Green News gathered that the listening of the erring PSP outfits became imperative due to poor performance 2 ½ years after registration.
Our reporter who have been following activities of the PSP outfits can authoritatively confirmed that some of the PSP uptodate has no offices more noticeable refuse evacuation vehicles and fix addresses for contact.
Finding also revealed that some don’t even border to evacuate their customer refuse dumb. Drums for months but only show up at month end to collect money for services not rendered
The situation has now became worrisome due to the cart and rat vase between private service provider and their customers who could not satisfied their demands on prompt refuse evacuation to maintain clean and healthy environment at all times.
Meanwhile, the environment ministry is doing all that are best possible to safe the situation at hand. A Top Official of the ministry who would prefer not be be named can find in our reporter that the heads of the ministry are looking into the matter most especially complaints lodged by various customers of some of the PSP.
