Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Zion has made it clear that he will not leave the show even if his partner and girlfriend, Chinwe, decides to exit. This statement comes after Chinwe threatened to leave the reality show, accusing Zion of undermining her to gain favor with other housemates.

Chinwe, frustrated by Zion’s actions, claimed he was “throwing her under the bus,” and informed fellow housemate Michky that she had already notified Big Brother of her intention to exit.

In response, Zion expressed indifference toward her departure but firmly stated that he would resist any attempt to evict him if Chinwe leaves, despite the season’s rules requiring contestants to compete in pairs. Speaking with Anita, Zion emphasized, “If she wants to go, she can go. We came here together, but that doesn’t mean we have to leave together. I’m here to compete, and I’m not leaving just because she wants to.”

He further added, “This whole situation should help us grow; it shouldn’t divide us. If she chooses to leave, I’ll take off the ZinWe badge, but I’m staying in the house.”

As tensions rise between the paired contestants, viewers are keen to see how this dynamic will affect their standing in the competition.
