A House of Assembly aspirant for Afon State Constituency in Kwara State, Hon. Salman Ridwan Dan Sokoto, has called on residents to embrace unity, compassion, and sustained development as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
Dan Sokoto, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Dan Sokoto Transport Global Services, made the call in a felicitation message to mark the end of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewal.
“As we celebrate Eid, we must uphold the values of patience, unity, and self-discipline instilled during Ramadan,” he said, urging constituents not to lose sight of the lessons learnt during the holy month.
He noted that Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond festivities, stressing that it is a time for gratitude to Almighty Allah and a renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence and collective progress.
The aspirant further called for prayers for peace, prosperity, and stability in Afon State Constituency, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large.
Reaffirming his political ambition, Dan Sokoto pledged his commitment to the growth and well-being of the constituency, promising inclusive representation and expanded opportunities for the people.
“Together, we can build a constituency that works for all—where opportunities are expanded and every voice is heard,” he added.
He also urged residents to carry forward the spirit of sacrifice demonstrated during Ramadan into efforts that would drive community development.
