The Chief Executive Officer of Dan Sokoto Transport Global Services and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Afon Constituency, Hon. Salman Ridwan Dan Sokoto, has intensified his grassroots mobilization with a strategic visit to Budo Egba Ward in Asa Local Government Area.
The visit turned into a vibrant political gathering as party stakeholders, ward executives, coordinators, and enthusiastic PDP members trooped out to welcome the aspirant, signaling growing support for his 2027 ambition.
Addressing the crowd, Dan Sokoto paid glowing tribute to the late political icon, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, describing him as a guiding force whose legacy continues to shape Kwara politics.
He also offered prayers for the leader of the PDP in the state, Dr. Bukola Saraki, asking for divine protection and continued guidance.
Shifting focus to his ambition, the aspirant expressed deep concern over what he described as the current challenges facing Afon Constituency, assuring residents that a new era of responsive governance is possible.
He pledged to prioritize the welfare of the people across all eight wards in the constituency, promising inclusive representation, accessibility, and people-oriented policies if elected.
“I will not let you down. I will always be there when you call,” he assured, while urging party members to remain united and committed to the PDP’s vision.
Dan Sokoto further called for strong grassroots collaboration, stressing that teamwork and collective resolve would be crucial to securing victory in 2027.
The visit to Budo Egba Ward is seen as part of a broader consultation tour across the constituency, as the aspirant consolidates support and positions himself as a key contender in the race.
