Frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ridwan Dan Sokoto, has intensified his grassroots push with a high-profile consultation visit to Ogbodoko Reke Ward, where he met with top traditional authorities and rallied party stakeholders.
He engaged the Alagua of Ogbodoko and the Alagua of Reke in what observers described as a strategic outreach to consolidate local support ahead of the party’s primaries.
Addressing a cross-section of community leaders, youths, and women groups, Dan Sokoto said his ambition is anchored on “listening first, then delivering,” stressing that governance must reflect the real needs of the people.
“Our mission is simple: to listen, to serve, and to deliver. This is about building a social contract with the people of Afon,” he declared, promising to prioritise infrastructure, youth empowerment, agriculture, and education.
The traditional rulers commended the aspirant’s humility and consultative approach, offering prayers and urging him to remain committed to grassroots development if elected.
PDP leaders in the ward described the visit as a strong signal of Dan Sokoto’s seriousness, citing his background in enterprise and community engagement as key strengths.
The visit is part of an ongoing constituency-wide consultation tour aimed at shaping an issue-based campaign ahead of the 2027 elections.
