The South East Zonal Coordinator of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Hon. Chima Chukwudi has congratulated the Imo State governorship front liner under the platform of the party, Dr. Steve Uwazie after the he obtained expression of interest and nomination forms for the governorship aspirant.

Chukwudi while presenting the forms to Uwazie said that the governorship aspirant has what it takes to wrestle power from the ruling party in Imo state; hence the party at every level is giving the needed support as the preferred candidate to fly the flag of the party in Imo state during the general elections schedule early next year.

Uwazie while responding to the gesture by the party to support him for the election expressed optimism that he will deliver Imo state from the hands of those he described as “jokers in government” noting that his party, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) will defeat any candidate fielded by other political parties during the general elections.

Uwazie  the Okrikama Ahiazu Mbaise born politician and  MD/CEO of leading IT Firm in Nigeria, Net Solutions Ltd, is reputed to have single handedly brought IT giants, IBM to Nigeria and served as pioneer Country Manager IBM East and West Africa with track record of sales volume.

His advantage in the Imo gubernatorial contest will not only rest on his exposure and professional forays but the political calculations in the state also favour his Owerri senatorial zone to produce the next governor of the state. The zone comprises of  Mbaise  Ngor Okpala, Owerri West, Owerri North,  Mbaitolu and Ikeduru.
