N3.2Billion Contract Scandal: Aisha Buhari “Orders” Sacking of Four Amnesty Staff

Aisha Buhari, wife of President Mohammadu Buhari, has allegedly requested the sacking of some staff of the presidential Amnesty Program, PAP, suspected to have leaked reports of contract scandals at the agency, sources informed Pointblanknews.com. Pointblanknews.com had penultimate week reported the award of a N3.2billion fictitious contracts within one month to front portfolio companies, Innotek Royal Services Limited and Glassfa Continental Limited by the Coordinator of the PAP, Prof. Charles Dokubo.

A management staff of the PAP program had told Pointblanknews.com that Dokubo has often boasted how he cannot be prosecuted or sacked because the first Lady Aisha Buhari and the National Security Adviser, General Babagana Monguno are all beneficiaries and aware of the deals.Dokubo was said to have been tongue-lashed by senior officials of the Presidency who queried him over the leakage of the deals and as aface-saving measure, he immediately sacked suspected staff members.The embattled PAP boss reportedly told some senior staff that he got the directive to sack the staff members from Aisha Buhari.

“He came to the office and the next thing he did was told us he was sacking some persons. He said the first lady gave him the directive to sack anyone associated with the leakage of information in the office. I personally do not know how true it is, a senior PAP staff told Pointblanknews.com

The sacked staff are:

1. Happiness Michael in HOR department,
2. Gift Emelogu in Education Offshore,
3. Ebere Okoh in Vocational Training Unit,
4. Joseph from IT Department.

They are all accused of leaking information to Pointblanknews.com. Sources told Pointbklanknews.com that following series of expose of the sleaze in the PAP office, Dokubo has been suspecting staffers of the Agency of being the brain behind leakage of information from his office. At some point, he had directed the Director of Procurement’s, Mr. Odiniya Moses to henceforth keep files of shady deals in his office toilet.

Not satisfied with the measures adopted to keep away documents from disenchanted staffers, Dokubo, according to sources, brought in soldiers to the office to search the phones of his staff and subsequently banned phones in the office.

However, sources confirmed to Pointblankews.com that a visibly angry Dokubo directed the immediate sacking of the four staff of the agency accusing them of leaking information.

“Not that he found anything on their phones, he just directed that they sack them for no offence. He is frustrated how documents and information about his many deals leak to Pointblanknews,” a source who does not want his name mentioned said.

Pointblanknews.com gathered that soon after the expose, Dokubo has been severally berated by officials in the presidency who accuse him of dragging the name of the wife of the President and the National Security Adviser, NSA, Babagana Monguno, in the mud.

Fearing for his job, Dokubo returned to the office and immediately sacked those he suspects to have been leaking information.

Meanwhile, in a statement signed by special assistant on Media to the office of the Coordinator of the PAP, Murphy Ganagana, he urged members of the public to ignore the alleged N3.2billion contract scam report, describing it as “fake news.”

Ganagana admitted that while contracts were awarded to Innotek Royal Services Limited and Glassfa Continental Limited by the agency, they all followed due processes while funds are yet to be released to them.

While Ganagana claimed that “… no dime has been paid to any of the two companies,” a management staff told Pointblanknews.com that Ganagana lied as funds have been released after requests were made by the companies.
