The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy announces its intent to launch the Abuja International Carnival in November, with advanced talks underway with Yankee Entertainment for collaboration.

Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, highlights the carnival’s significance in promoting cultural diversity, supporting the creative economy, boosting tourism, and fostering national unity.

Yankee Entertainment’s Managing Director, Kehinde Adegbite (Mallam Yankee), outlines the vision for the carnival, aiming to showcase Nigerian culture and creativity on a global scale, with assurances of making it the largest carnival yet.

The carnival, slated for November 2024, is expected to feature a diverse range of activities including street shows, musical concerts, boat regatta, Durbar, children’s Fiesta, and exhibitions, aiming to attract both local and international participants.
