After a hiatus on the annual international Zulu Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA) the 18th edition is set to hold this year.
Scheduled for 17th November at Grace Point, Essex Road London the Ceremony will be hosted by the duo of Funke Akindele Bello who is Face of ZAFAA 2018 and ace comedian MC Abbey.
Speaking at a briefing in Lagos, CEO ZAFAA, Sam Alozie, said that the award which is the biggest African Film Award outside Africa is new and improved. “ We have not and cannot compromise the quality and trust of the award process which is in recognition of talents and hardworking people who have made an impact in the entertainment industry.
Winners of 2016 awards were unveiled with Fredrick Leonard taking the
lead for Best Actor for ‘Woeman;’ Ini Edo, Lead Actress, ‘While You
Slept;’ Moses Inwang, Best Director while Frankie Ogah copped two
awards for Best Picture Editing and Screen play for ‘A soldier’s Story.’
