Coal City University VC, lauds Professor Uwa on professorial elevation

The Vice-Chancellor of Coal City University, Enugu, Prof. Afam Icha Ituma, has congratulated Professor Amaka Uwa on her well-deserved promotion to the esteemed rank of Professor. The commendation was made during a grand celebration marking Professor Uwa’s professorial elevation and 60th birthday. The event was graced by prominent dignitaries from various walks of life and was chaired by Her Excellency, Mrs. Ukamaka Egwu, who represented her husband Senator Dr Sam Egwu, the first Executive Governor of Ebonyi State.

Professor Uwa’s elevation to the professorial cadre is a testament to her dedication, expertise, and passion for teaching, research, and mentorship. Prof Afam Icha Ituma who represented Ngbo Professors Forum, which decorated Professor Uwa with a Sach, expressed pride in her accomplishments and wished her continued success, impact, and inspiration in her future endeavors.

The citation of Professor Uwa which chronicled her academic achievements and impact in her field was read by Dr Maxwell Ngene of Mass Communication department ESUT.
