Two men have stabbed each other to death during a violent clash over a family traditional title dispute in Gbajibo village, Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
This was made public by security analyst, Zagazola Makama via a post he made on X on Sunday.

Makama disclosed that the incident happened on Friday, October 3, 2025, after a heated argument between Iliyasu Umar Sayidi, aged 30, and Ahmadu Isah, aged 25, both from Bukka village, turned deadly.

Sources told the analyst that the two men engaged each other in a fight and stabbed themselves with daggers, leaving both with serious injuries.

They were later rushed to the General Hospital in Jebba, where medical personnel confirmed them dead on arrival.

Police operatives visited the scene, took photographs of the corpses, and deposited them at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.

The case has since been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.

Meanwhile, two people have also been killed and another injured after gunmen attacked a Fulani settlement near Osara Dam in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Makama said the attack happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

He said about ten armed men invaded the settlement, shooting sporadically and killing two residents identified as Idris Isyaku, aged 50, and Abdulrazaq Jimoh, aged 40.

Another victim, Alhaji Tashi Isyaku, sustained machete injuries and was rushed to the NIOMCO Hospital before being transferred to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Lokoja for further treatment.

Security forces have reportedly intensified efforts to track down those responsible for the attack.
