
Nigeria has recorded 790 new Covid-19 infections being yet its highest number in one day breaking its own record set barely 72 hours ago. This has taken the total number of confirmed cases to 26,484
The country also recorded its highest number of 406 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria bringing the number of successfully treated cases in the country to 10,152.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 death toll in Nigeria is now 603 following 13 new fatalities in last 24 hours.
The 790 new Covid-19 cases recorded in 21 states include Delta-166; Lagos-120; Enugu-66; FCT-65; Edo-60; Ogun-43; Kano-41; Kaduna-39; Ondo-33 and Rivers-32.
The other states are Bayelsa-29; Katsina-21; Imo-20; Kwara-18; Oyo-11; Abia-10; Benue-6; Gombe-4; Yobe, Bauchi and Kebbi-2 each.
