The Actors Guild of Nigeria has confered award on Chief Engr. Joseph Chinedu Uzor, the President General of Adu Development Union(A.D.U) in Enugu state for his philantropic activities in the movie and entertainment industry and support to the down troden in the society. The event that took place at Abuja FCT during the AGN Award night was witnessed by creme la creme in the movie industry.
Presenting the award, the President AGN, Emeka Rollas described Engr Uzor as a hard working and dedicated person who has overtime engaged on humanitarian services which has impacted positively on the lives of many indigent Nigerians all over the country.
He further mentioned that Chief Engr. Uzor has contributed immensely in human development activities in the industry and in his home town adding that the Award is to thank him and motivate him to do more for the betterment of the country. He charged youths of his alike to emulate the good gesture of Engr Uzo whom he described as definition of Youth support to the Federal Government policies to empower Nigeria Youths for effective performance that will aid in the development of the Country.
He averred that Youths remains the backbone of every successful government across the globe.

Responding to the Award, Engr Uzor thanked the guild for considering him for the award which he said will spur him into doing more for the community.
He assured them of his continue support to the growth of movie industry in Nigeria which accordingly to him will dovetail to economic growth and good image of the country to the outside world.
Engr Joseph Uzor has bagged many awards all in acknowledgement of his devotion to service to God and humanity whilst making the people of Adu-Achi and Nigerians proud.
Dignitries that graced the occassion include the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria Chief Emeka Rollas. E. , Mayor AGN Abuja chapter and top socialite in the country.
