The Gregory Univeristy Uturu, Abia State has said that as part of its activities for its eight matriculation of new students for the 2019/2020 session, on 15 Saturday February, the minister of Transport, Rt Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will commission a newly built college of agriculture complex named after the former executive secretary of National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Julius Okogie.
According to a statement from the office of the registrar of the university, Emmanuel Nebo, and made available to The New Narrative newspaper in Abuja, about 200 fresh students offered admission into the institution will be inducted.
The statement said that expected at the occasion is the governor of Abia state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, members of the state House of Assembly and other important personalities from across the country.
