Anambra State government suspends newly appointed Caretaker Committee Chairman, Hon. Mbazulike Iloka over circumstances leading to the death of his wife, Mrs. Chidiebere IIoka, barely a few days after his swearing-in as Nnewi North LGA TC chairman.

This was contained in a letter made public by the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs and duly signed by the Commissioner, Hon. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, stated that the suspension takes effect from 12th August 2022.

According to the release, Hon. Mbazulike Iloka was asked to hand over to the Head of the Local Government Administration, pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation over the death of his wife.
