Tragedy struck on Friday night as bandits reportedly killed two individuals and abducted 16 in the Gidan Busa Doka ward of Kachia Local Government Area in Kaduna State. While the police are yet to formally respond to the incident, a local resident revealed that the armed assailants shot sporadically during their invasion, causing injuries to approximately five others who were promptly taken to a medical facility for treatment.
The community has expressed condemnation over the frequent attacks in Kachia and other regions of Southern Kaduna. Locals allege that these incidents have significantly impacted agriculture and other activities in the area. The unsettling situation has raised concerns among residents as they grapple with the security challenges in the region.
