Chief of Staff to President Mohammadu Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha collected N500million each as part of Prof Charles Dokubo’s bribing
spree to be reappointed Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty program, PAP, and Adviser to the President on Niger Delta.
One Prince Yemi Oyewunmi, a Special Assistant in the office of the National Security Adviser also collected what a source estimated to be over $300,000.00 in cash at the IBB Golf Club Men’s Box Room. Box Room is where Golfers bath and change clothes after golf games.
Some IBB Golf Club Caddies who told Pointblanknews.com about the large Dollar sum to the NSA Staff, expressed shock at the huge sums that was brought out from a bag by Dokubo and handed to Oyewunmi in the Men’s Box Room of the IBB’s Gulf Club.
Caddies are the Boys who help Golfers carry Gulf Bags. “We have not seen that kind of cash in real life except in movies. We saw the man bringing out the cash in the Men’s toilet and handing over to him (Oyewunmi). It was when we mentioned to some of our colleagues that we were told who they were,” some of the Gulf Course staffers told pointblanknews.com
A highly places source in the Presidential Villa who is conversant with the movement of huge cash to Presidency officials told Pointblanknews.com that Dokubo has spent over N5billion bribing those considered the decision makers for Political appointments.
“He has bribed not just Monguno but others like the Chief of Staff and the SGF who got N500million each. In all, he has spent over N5billion in bribes and this is why he boasts around to everyone including his numerous women,” the source who does not want to be named told Pointblanknews.com
The huge cash doled out in bribe to Presidency officials, according to the source, is responsible for the suppression of petition monumental corruption against Dokubo and some members of the PAP.
One Danjuma, a Personal Assistant to the National Security Adviser, NSA, a source said, is said to have destroyed or suppressed petitions written against Dokubo alleging huge corruption and embezzlements in the Amnesty program.
“Danjuma has destroyed most of the petition against Dokubo and that is why he is not only being compensated; he sends people here for contracts.” The source told Pointblanknews, com.
Only recently, Pointblanknews.com exclusively reported how Dokubo has been boasting of paying Over N1billion in bribe to officials within the Presidency to retain his position as Coordinator of the Amnesty Program.
Sources named Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the National Security Adviser, NSA, Gen. Babagana Monguno, Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari and few other officials in the Presidency as those Dokubo claimed he has paid to retain his position.
Multiple sources told Pointblanknews.com that Dokubo claimed that his letter of reappointment is ready and awaiting the final approval of the President.
Curiously, Dokubo’s appointment letter issued by the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and signed by Boss Mustapha, said his appointment took effect February 25, 2017, which was 13 months prior to the sack of General Paul Boroh, the former Amnesty Boss who was removed for corruption. Boroh was appointed in August 2015 and sacked on March 13, 2018.
Dokubo, who has been accused of stealing public funds stealing to the tune of N13billion through fictitious contract awards, is battling calls from Ex-Militants and Stakeholders across the Niger Delta region to step-down.
Official documents showing the alleged fraud in the Presidential Amnesty office has continue to question the sincerity in President Mohammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade.
Calls for Dokubo to step down continue to fall on deaf ears around theNigeria Presidency despite the fact that it is common knowledge across Nigeria and the international community that Prof. Dokubo and his cronies allegedly orchestrated the five days uninterrupted looting of the N60Billion ($166.6million USD) training complex in Boro-Town, Kaiama, Bayelsa state to cover up their fake non-existent supply contracts in excess of N13Billion ($36.1million USD).
The continuous fraud and out-right stealing of public funds being perpetrated by Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo against Niger Deltans is unprecedented, a source at the PAP office in Abuja told Pointblanknews.com.
