Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to tackling security challenges and accelerating infrastructural and social development across the state.

Speaking while declaring open the 12th Regular Meeting of the State Executive Council held at the Government House, Sokoto, on Wednesday, Governor Aliyu lauded the dedication and cooperation of council members, senior aides, and civil servants in advancing the government’s development agenda.

“I want to sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding in the pursuit of our collective vision for the people of Sokoto State,” the governor said. “Let us continue to give our best so that together we can deliver impactful projects that transform lives across the state.”

Aliyu expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded under his administration, particularly in infrastructure, social services, and economic growth. He noted that Sokoto was witnessing steady development and improved access to basic amenities for its citizens.

The governor also assured that his government would not relent in addressing security challenges affecting parts of the state, stressing that peace and stability remain essential for sustainable growth.

He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and wisdom for members of the council as they deliberate on policies and programs aimed at promoting peace, unity, and prosperity in Sokoto State.
