A group of Offa indigenes, Offa Descendants Union (ODU) home and abroad has congratulated the newly deployed Commissioner of Police in Sokoto State, CP Kola Okunlola.
This is according to a statement signed by the national public relations officer of the union, Maruf Olalekan Ajenifuja and make available to newsmen on Thursday.
He described the appointment of CP Kola Okunlola, as the Commissioner of Police in Sokoto State as a meritorious and well deserve appointment.
“The appointment of CP Okunlola did not come as a surprise considering his constant display of gallantry and passion for the nation in the discharge of his official duty.
“ODU vividly recalled his bravery in defending the sanctity of our electoral system in the last 2019 general election in Bayelsa state and his subsequent prestigious award as Hero of Democracy by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF”.
The group hereby encourages the Police Commissioner to raise the bar of the security architecture in Sokoto state to an enviable height and wishes him more feathers in his cap.
