The entire Gwandu emirate in Kebbi State was on Tuesday thrown into mourning when the families of Ubandoman gwandu late Halidu Sa, ad announced his demise, the late district head died in Usmanu Dan fodio teaching hospital Sokoto after he was admitted two weeks over an ailment.

The late monarch was until his death a former staff of the Kebbi State water board later turbaned by the emir of Gwandu as district head of Makera(Ubankasar makera) where he served as the traditional head, as the head then he resolved lots of farmers/headers clashes which averted blood birth, as the farther for all late Ubandoma took part in resolving marital issues and land grabbing in the locality.

He was also a mediator between the government and his subjects on issues of education and welfare , he maintained frank and cordial relationships with sub village heads as they both ensure law and order in their villages.

He has since been buried according to islamic rights amidst tears, his funeral was attended by the governor of Kebbi State his excellency Senator Atiku Bagudu, traditional rulers and top government functionaries, he is survived by three wives and 23 children and many grand children.
