Kebbi PDP Rejects LGs Polls Results, Heads To Tribunal.

The opposition peoples democratic party in Kebbi State Sunday rejects the results of the just concluded local governments elections that was held on October 26, 2019 across the 21 local local councils in Kebbi state.

Speaking to journalists at the party’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi ,the state chairman Mallam Haruna Saidu said that,the out come of the polls as announced by KSIEC was a mockery of democracy, he added that it took the electoral body five days to declare the fraudulent result.

He debunked their claim that APC won the entire 21 local governments while his party won only eight councillors he contended that the original result available to them indicated clear victory in Argungu,Zuru,Gwandu and Aliero local governments adding that his party also won 40 counsellors as against the 8 announced by KSIEC “his words we hereby totally rejects the results announced by the state electoral body.

The PDP chief said all is set to seek redress at the election petition tribunal to win back all seats denied by the body.

He urged his party followers to remain calm,law abiding and peaceful as the party will leave no stone unturned in the legal battle to reclaim the stolen mandates,he decried widespread violence during the conduct of the polls and ballot box snatching by some unidentified thugs in various local governments
