Acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Kemebradikumo Pondei fainted during questioning at the House of Representatives probe panel investigating alleged N40billion fraud at the agency on Monday.
The Probe panel was abruptly adjourned for 30 minutes to enable Pondei to receive medical attention.
Pondei was responding to allegations of N1.5 billion financial misappropriation when he suddenly collapsed. Members and guests at the probe hearing tried to resuscitate him. He regained consciousness and was immediately rushed out to receive medical attention at the National Assembly Clinic.
