The Nigeria Bar Association Ikeja Branch, this day the 16th of May, 2018, presented the CP Lagos with an Award of Excellence by its Human Rights Committee chaired by Mrs Caroline Ibharuneafe.
During the presentation, the Chairman of the committee who is also the Vice Chairman NBA Ikeja branch, extolled the Command as an ardent protector of human rights in the country.
In his response the Command CP, Imohimi Edgal, attributed the achievements of the Command on human rights issues to the cordial working relationship with members of the Bar and the Bench. He added the Command will not relent in its fight against human right abuses. He also noted that the award would spur the Command to do more in protecting the rights of citizens in the state.
