Reports indicate that the officers broke into offices and a bookshop on the second floor, seizing materials they claimed were used to incite and organize recent protests.
The Labour Writers Association of Nigeria (LAWAN) has condemned the invasion, joining a growing list of organizations and individuals expressing concern over the security agents’ actions.
The emergency NEC meeting is expected to address the invasion’s implications and discuss further steps to safeguard the interests of the NLC and its members.
