Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, has said that Ogun State College of Health Technology has the full capacity to be accredited due to massive projects of infrastructure.
These included; modern lecture rooms, E-library and a host of other modern facilities in the X-ray Technology Laboratory, X-ray Dental Technology Laboratory, Dental Therapy Clinic Laboratory and Digitalised Lecture rooms equipped with smart boards for ease of teaching and learning process.
Odemuyiwa made this remark during a Pre- NBTE accreditation facility Inspection visit to the Ogun State College of Health Technology (OSCOH-TECH), Ilese-Ijebu, emphasising that the College was important to the present administration for its peculiarity as a specalised middle -level health management staff training.
He commended the expertise displayed by the graduates of the school during the period of COVID-19 pandemic, adding that it was not just a college but a special institution that attends to humanity and thus saving lives.
The Special Adviser noted that the institution which was one of those under the purview of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) should also make use of their various modern equipment to also generate revenue to sustain its programmes.
In his welcome address, the Provost, Ogun State College of Health Technology, Dr. Abiodun Oladunjoye, appreciated the State for giving attention to the Health sector and meeting their needs while promising that the institution would be ready to render health care services delivery to Ogun citizenry.
