Contract staff of e-hailing commercial motorcycle company, OPay, took to the streets on Friday to protest the non- payment of their salaries and commission since September this year.
Sharon Ijasan reports that many of the workers were seen chanting words like ‘O Pay is a scam’, demanding immediate payment of their salaries, which according to them is 50 thousand naira excluding commission. They insisted that though they are contract staff they signed an agreement which the management is yet to meet up with.
