Otti appoints 17 LGA Transition Committee Chairmen, Deputies

The Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti has announced the appointments of Transition Committee Chairmen and their Deputies Into the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.I

The names of the nominees are as follows 1. IsialaNgwa South LGA:

Chairman, Elelenta Nwambuisi Elele, Deputy- Mr. Eberechukwu Ahuruonye.

Ukwa West LGA: Chairman, Newman Azu, Deputy- Anele Michael

Arochukwu LGA: Chairman-  Joe Ezearu Deputy-  Okezie Azuma

Umuahia South LGA: Chairman- Obike Ejike NnochiriI,Deputy-  Olendingwa Nwabueze.

IsialaNgwa North LGA:

Chairman- C. Y. Nwankwo

Deputy- Uchenna Nwanbuko. and. Umunneochi LGA:

Chairman-. Ndubuisi Ike

Deputy- Njoku Augustine C.

Others include:  Isuikwuato LGA:

Chairman- Air Vice Marshal Chinwendu Onyike (Rtd).

Deputy-. Harrison Onuke,

kwuano LGA: Chairman- Osinachi Hycient Nwaka .Deputy- Chief Charles Ugbuajah . Bende LGA:

Chairman-  Chijioke Nwankwo, Deputy- Onyedikachi Iroegbu.

Ohafia LGA: Chairman-  DAVID OGBA (Bourdex) Deputy-  Mkpa Oju Uka. Obingwa LGA:, Chairman-  Eric Egwuibe  Deputy-  Chiemela Ekpemu and Ugwunagbo LGA: Chairman-  Nosike Ihesiaba Deputy-  Nnamdi Kelvin Chijioke.

The rest are: Ukwa East LGA: Chairman- . Ngozi Nwagbara, Deputy- Onyebuchi Nnah.

Umuahia North LGA: Chairman- Victor Ikeji Deputy- Okechukwu Anthony Amah. Aba South LGA:

Chairman- Uchechukwu A. C. Wogu, Deputy- Nkiru Ugwu.

Aba North LGA: Chairman-  John Udeagbala  Deputy-  Nnaemeka Ogbonna  and. Osisioma Ngwa LGA:Chairman- Israel Nweke, Deputy- Young Ngwaziem.

In a statement signed by Uzor Nwachkwu, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said the List of the above nominees has been transmitted to the State House of Assembly by His Excellency, Alex C. Otti for Screening and Confirmation as required by Law.

The concerned persons have therefore been requested to approach the State House of Assembly for their Screening.
