Most of the villages who spoke to The New Narrative newspaper accused the Ondo State governor, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu of selling off their farmland to foreigners.

A villager who claims to be their leader who simply identified himself as Solomon noted that with the action of the governor, over 10 million youths, women and men will be unemployed, noting that his people does not know how to steal, kidnap or do fraud.
