Passengers on both local and international flights are currently stranded at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, while airplanes scheduled for landing are being diverted to Kano and other Airports.

This is due to an aircraft that broke down on the runway as the airport authorities can not immediately evacuate it.
