Sanusi Lamido has officially received his letter of appointment as the 16th Emir of Kano from Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf. The ceremony took place at the Kano State Government House on Friday.
This reinstatement marks Sanusi’s return to the throne four years after being dethroned by the former governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje.
