At the helm of the changes, Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) G. Ntukidem has been named the new Corps Secretary, moving from his previous role as ACM, Personnel.
Other strategic reassignments include ACM J.W. Toby, now Zonal Commanding Officer (ZCO) RS11HQ Osogbo and ACM I. Abubakar, who takes over as ACM, Policy, at the headquarters in Abuja.
In the Training and Technical Service departments, ACM A.M. Hassan assumes leadership of Technical Services, while ACM A. Sanusi, fresh from a course at the National Defence College, becomes ACM, Manpower Development.
Recall that there are also changes across multiple sector commands.
Among them, CC J.N. Alexander has been moved from Anambra to Delta State; CC B. Asekhauno takes over Anambra command and CC Y.T. Etuku moves from Kebbi to Kogi.
CC D.B. Apaji now leads the Bauchi command, CC R.M.Z. Abubakar heads to Kebbi and CC A.P. Longkam assumes duties in Yobe.
Meanwhile, CCs S.O. Ayodele and N.I. Ezeoma retains their current postings in Benue and Abia states respectively.
These reassignments are part of a broader strategy to strengthen institutional capacity across all levels of the Corps.
According to the Corps Marshal, the redeployment is intended to “reinvigorate the operations of the Corps” and ensure improved service delivery in line with the FRSC’s mandate of safer roads and strict compliance with traffic regulations.
He called on the newly appointed officers to bring renewed energy and commitment to their roles.
