
The last of the 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria, has regained finally his freedom after two YEARS, three months and 27 days in terrorists captivity.
It will recalled that bandits stormed the school on July 5, 2021, where they abducted 121 students. All the abducted students regained their freedom except one.
Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State, Reverend Joseph Hayap who confirmed this said, that the 15-year-old boy, Treasure Ayuba found himself in an unidentified community in the early hours of Thursday where he asked some locals for help and they obliged.
Reverend Hayap explained that the locals put him on a motorbike where he travelled a long distance before getting a vehicle that brought him to Kaduna metropolis. Upon getting to Sabon Tasha, the student was able to find his way home to reunite with his family.
The clergyman noted that the boy appears to be in good state of mind, but he has been taken to an undisclosed health facility for medical check-up.
