President Bola Tinubu has departed Lagos for Abuja to oversee the inauguration of several significant projects carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Administration. His departure from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, took place at 11:43 AM, with a send-off from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and other government officials.

During his stay in Lagos, President Tinubu marked the official commencement of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway construction, a 700-kilometer project designed to enhance economic growth and development in rural communities.

Additionally, President Tinubu inaugurated several key infrastructure projects, including the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge. He also virtually launched the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.

In Abuja, President Tinubu will commission various projects, including the Southern Parkway from the Christian Centre to Ring Road One, further showcasing his administration’s commitment to infrastructural development across the country.
