Tragedy was today averted at 88 Nkwerre Street, by Umuchu Umuahia, the Abia State capital when a three story building collapsed this evening immediately after the occupants were said to have evacuated the building resulting to no loss of lives.
An eye witness account said that occupants of the building at about 3-4pm today evacuated the building which was later sealed by the Abia State Government after due diligence.
The building was said to have collapsed minutes later.
