Borno  State Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur and former Borno State  Governor , Senator Kashim Shettima on Monday morning led National Assembly members and Borno State APC party leaders to Zabarmari  community of Jere local government area of Borno state which was attacked by boko haram terrorists on Saturday leading to lost of more than 48 rice farmers to brutal killing by the  boko haram members  Saturday evening.

The delegation include Senators Mohammed Ali Ndume and Abubakar Kyari, State Chairman of the APC, Ali Bukar Dalori, Chief whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, House of Rep members Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis, Hon.  Ahmed Jaha among other important top government officials and party leaders.

The delegation which expressed empathy with the families of the deceased and community leaders of Zabarmari, urged them to strengthen their  faith and bear the irreparable loss  and regard the incident as a destiny from God while praying for the repose of those who lost their lives.

The delegates also promised to beef up security in the area and support the residents of the area

Speaking to journalists after the condolence, Senator kashim ahettima assured that he will personally present the immediate demands of the community to his colleagues to proper and  necessary action.

He added that efforts will also be made to improve security in the area especially the famous  seasonal rice  rural farmers who were affected by the attack as well as the host community.

Speaking also, the House of Representatives member representing Jere Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Ahmed Satomi suggested for the inclusion of the local vigilante hunters and CJTF from the area  in the new security forces being planned and  targeted for the community to curtail future reoccurrence while  praying for lasting peace in the area and state at large.
