Former Nigeria vice president, Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the Super Eagles for their defeat of Libya in the Africa Cup of Nations’ match day 3 qualifying match in Uyo.
Atiku, who is also the presidential candidate of the opposition political party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Nigeria 2019 general elections issued the message shortly after the Nigerian team overwhelmed Libya 4-0.
He said that the eagles displayed much strength and determination in winning the match even as he expressed optimism that the squad will do the country proud by lifting AFCON trophy again.
