Honourable Muhammed Manir Dan’Iya, the deputy governor of Sokotp State,I has Thursday officially joined the league of contenders for the governorship position in Sokoto State.
Dan’Iya, disclosed this on his Twitter handle earlier on Thursday where he solicited for support of members of the party in seeking the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, forthcoming primary elections.
“Today, with utmost humility and Allah’s will, I formally declare my intention to run for the office of the Governor, Sokoto State, on the platform of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
” I seek for your Support, Thanks”
It will be recalled that the deputy governor was the Peoples Democratlic Party (PDP), candidate in 2019 general election before stepping down for his Boss, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, after he lost the presidential primary election in Port Harcourt.
